What does this "Deauthorize my other computer" message mean?

Background

In our negotiations with publishers to license their content we have agreed to implement controls which prevent content from being used on more than 3 computers by a single licensed user. That rule may change someday the way that DRM-free MP3s are becoming more common, but the current publishing landscape still requires strict controls on content and usage.

So what's happening?

Basically, our system believes that you have installed MyScribe on at least three computers other than the one you are currently on. This may have happened because you installed the full MyScribe on a lab computer or on Grandma's computer at Thanksgiving. You should use MyScribe Portable for temporary access from other computers.

Okay, so what do I do to fix it?

Send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and explain that you need to deactivatate one of your previous computers. We'll configure your account so you'll be able to use MyScribe on the fourth computer as well as any prior computers.
