If you are experiencing a strange error such as a book that cannot be opened or an abrupt system crash it's helpful if we can view exactly what MyScribe was doing when the error occurred.
(Windows) To include your MyScribe log as an email attachment:
- Keep MyScribe running
- Open Internet Explorer
- In the address bar in IE enter %temp%
- Scroll down through the list of files until you see a file which begins MyScribe_[random characters].log
- Attach that file to an email and send it to
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
(It may be helpful to copy (CTRL+C) the log file and paste it (CTRL+V) to your Desktop where you can find it easily from your email program)
