Imagine you are studying for an exam for a particular class and you want to focus your attention on the notes your professor added to the required reading. You don't want to turn off all SharedNotes since that would also turn off your professor's notes as well.

To temporarily filter the SharedNotes that are displayed in MyScribe:

1. Click on the Inbox toolbar button to open the Notes Inbox
   
   
2. In the upper-right corner, click on the 'Options...' button
   
   
3. Add checkmarks to the users whose notes you want to be displayed
   
   
4. Click 'OK' to apply your changes
