It's just that I hate things that don't work properly. And I thought that there might perhaps be some cunning plan that I don't know about which explains the behaviour of the highlight pen:
Now you see it; now you don't.
Now it's working over the correct letter; now it works over the 5th one behind.
Now it works immediately; now you must wai t 25 seconds. -- but you didn't know that. Now look what a mess you've made. The last one will erase. What the heck do you do about the ones which won't erase?
