Changing the Background Page Color

Try changing the background color of your digital content to reduce the eye strain of staring at a screen for hours on end while you read and study. Here's how:

  1. Open a document in MyScribe
  2. On a blank area of the page, right click (Ctrl+Click for Mac) and select the "Change background color" option
  3. In the color chooser select an appealing color from the color space. You can change the brightness by using the slider on the right
  4. If you like the color you have selected, click on the "Add as a custom color" button so the color will be available for future use.
  5. Select 'Ok'
  6. The background color of your book will change from white to your selected color. Try experimenting - light pink and light blue seem to work especially well.

You can also change the default setting so all your books will automatically open with your preferred color. To do so, open the Edit > Preferences menu option. Select the View panel and click on the 'Change Color' button.
